Towel stomped.
I had to post this, after reading all the miserable and ridiculous message board material on Steeler's sites out there about our Titans stomping Pittsburgh's silly little dish towel. One guy even said it was worse than burning the American flag or "pissing on a picture of the pope".
Really?
Yes, they really posted that. Hahaha. A little bit bitter? Probably. Will we most likely play the Steelers again in January? Probably. Will this be used as motivavtion for them? Again, probably. But so what? Go Titans.
If you have such an issue with a stadium give-away being disrepected, I think you probably need to venture out of Western PA more often.
Silly yankees. Go home.

Charlie Brown Christmas Ad Agency
Too funny.... And it's so true as well. The bit about Widespread Panic and smoking a fatty was almost too much for me to handle.
enjoy.

Squarepusher live in Paris

Squarepusher, live in Paris...playing the "just a Souvenir" stuff, with a full band. Jealous? Yes I am...that I missed the show, but NOT that I don't live in France.
MonkeyLectric

I found these last night, poking around the net. On first appearance, they look super cool, and would be perfect for my fiancee on her cruiser bike at night. I'm very worried that she is going to get run over, because, bless her heart, she's not the most on your toes, reaction savvy bike rider out there.
However, these monkey lectric things look God Awful when the wheel is not spinning. It honestly looks like some sort of Steve Wozniak garage prototype pay phone hack gadget, circa 1979...
Either way, I think I may test the waters and see if my fiancee bites.
What can I say, I'm a closet raver.....

Matt and Kim

So I was eating lunch last week, and I saw in the Nashville Scene an ad for the Cool Kids with Matt & Kim at Exit/In. For 5 bucks no less! Obviously I had to go...being the uberleet hip hop snob that I am. I had never heard of Matt & Kim, but judging by their spot on the ad I saw, they were obviously garbage sissy indie fucks. The main target for most of my joke repertoire.
When I got back to work, I poked around the net to get a sample of just how indie Matt & Kim sounded.
Oh my...they are totally indie. But as I was mentally preparing to tear them down with skinny jeans, Urban Outfitters, Williamsburg Brooklyn hipster comments, I actually realized their music was good. Damn good, actually.
Go get some of their stuff. You won't be disappointed. It's great fun.
Their show...oh my, their show. They killed it. Complete with Europe- The Final Countdown and Shimmy Shimmy Ya teases...in my opinion, they blew the Cool Kids away. (who, by some unknown reason had hired this total goofball guy to be their "DJ"... I'm sorry but hip hop "DJ's" can't simply use a laptop and a mixing board. It's just not real to me. If you wanna be a hip hop DJ, you better be able to scratch. With vinyl.)
Anyway...check out Matt & Kim. They rock:
